mindSoft Meet Recorder Chrome Extension · Last updated: June 14, 2026
This policy describes how mindSoft (“we”, “us”) handles information when
you use the
mindSoft Meet Recorder Chrome extension together with the
mindSoft CRM web application.
What the extension does
The extension adds a recording control to Google Meet. When you start a
recording, you explicitly choose to share your meeting tab (including
audio). Audio is encoded locally and uploaded in chunks to mindSoft
servers linked to a candidate record in your organization’s CRM.
Information we collect
-
Meeting audio — tab and microphone audio you choose to
share during recording.
-
Meeting metadata — Google Meet meeting code,
participant count, recording duration.
-
Candidate data — candidate you select from your
organization’s CRM for the call.
-
Authentication data — a revocable extension credential
issued by the CRM and a short-lived access token stored in Chrome local
storage.
How we use information
-
Store and transcribe interview audio using AI services configured for
your organization.
-
Attach transcripts and analysis to the candidate’s record in mindSoft
CRM.
-
Authenticate API requests between the extension and mindSoft backend.
Where data is stored
-
Audio chunks may be buffered locally in the browser (IndexedDB) until
upload completes.
-
Uploaded audio and transcripts are stored on mindSoft infrastructure
(cloud storage and databases).
-
Extension credentials and tokens are stored in Chrome’s local extension
storage on your device.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Audio and transcripts are accessible only to
authorized users within your organization’s CRM. Third-party subprocessors
(e.g. cloud hosting, speech-to-text providers) may process data solely to
provide the service.
Your choices
-
Recording starts only after you click Record and approve Chrome’s
screen-share dialog.
-
You can disconnect the extension from the CRM at any time, which revokes
stored credentials.
-
Organization administrators can revoke extension credentials from the
CRM.
Permissions
- storage — save extension authentication state.
-
meet.google.com — show the recording UI on Google Meet
pages.
-
api.mindsoft.pro — upload audio and manage call
records.
